Photography Session Terms and Conditions
Deposit Requirement: A deposit of at least $150 is necessary to secure your photography session date. Please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel the session for any reason.
Payment of Remaining Balance: The outstanding balance is due on the day of the session. Editing of the images will commence once the final payment has been received and you have selected your photos. The standard turnaround time for image processing is 20-60 business days for regular sessions and 1-6 months for weddings and extensive productions (8-10 hours of coverage).
Rescheduling Policy: Should you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before the session start time. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will result in the forfeiture of the original deposit.
Consultation Availability: Phone consultations are available for clients who have booked a session. These consultations are held by appointment only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10 am and 5 pm.
Editing Guidelines: Basic editing, which includes light skin smoothing, removal of flyaway hairs, and minor blemish correction, is included in the session price. Advanced editing or photo alterations will incur a fee of $50 per photo. Magazine-style editing for commercial photography begins at $50 per photo for a single subject.
Copyright Information: Photographs are protected under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976 from the moment of creation. They may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only. A commercial photography usage license is required for any commercial or advertising use, and a licensing fee will apply. The use of watermarked proofs or unedited images is strictly prohibited.
Digital Photo Delivery: Digital files will be delivered electronically, and I will retain a digital copy of your files for six months. The online gallery will be available for 30 days, so please ensure you save the photos to your device or an external hard drive. Note that prints are not included in any of the packages; only digital photos will be provided.
Additional Costs: Travel expenses, tolls, parking fees, tickets, and photography permits are not included in the package price and will be billed to the client separately.
